Another key Dark Knight Rises cast member is spotted in New York. George R.R. Martin's other famous series gets a movie adaptation. Joshua Jackson promises the epic return of an old Fringe villain will be the best episode ever!

It's spoilers all the way down!

The Dark Knight Rises

Nothing too major to report — which is in keeping with the reportedly relaxed, low-key atmosphere of the New York filming — but some set visitors say they spotted Gary Oldman on set, and one of the trailers is marked "Gordon." That's not exactly surprising, considering most of the New York filming has involved Gotham police, but it's good to have it confirmed... well, insofar as some unsourced set reports count as confirmation, I guess. Apollo 13 actor Chris Ellis, who is playing a minor, as yet unspecified role, has also reportedly been spotted on the set. [MTV Splash Page]

The Amazing Spider-Man

The movie is reportedly back in New York City this month for reshoots. One casting notice for November 17 says that they're looking for male and female extras who can apparently bring their own NYPD uniforms. [On Location Vacations]

Iron Man 3

This may not mean much at all, but the studios in Wilmington, North Carolina feature "one of the largest sound stages in the world with Stage 10, a 37,500 square-foot-space with a 60-by-60-by-10.5-foot water tank." So, I suppose it's conceivable that this movie will feature sequences that require that water tank, which means maybe some underwater scenes? Yeah... I'd take everything I just wrote with a grain of salt if I were you. [Indy Week]

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Andy Serkis has reportedly signed a seven-figure deal to return as the motion capture heart of ape revolutionary Caesar. The deal reportedly covers multiple films. Original movie director Rupert Wyatt and writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver are already signed on for the sequel. James Franco and Frieda Pinto have not yet been contracted, and it's not clear whether they will return or not - 20th Century Fox is reportedly still in the ideas stage with this one. [Deadline]

The Adventures of Tintin

British TV writer Anthony Horowitz, who is primarily known for his work in British television and has been hired to write the sequel to the upcoming Secret of the Unicorn, says this second movie probably won't be based on the story Prisoner of the Sun, as was previously suggested:

"That was true a few months ago, but I can tell you that I think the second film is not going to be Prisoners of the Sun. What it is going to be is still under discussion. I've had meetings with the directors and producers and we've talked about ideas and action sequences. At the moment I'm trying to put together a story that will please everybody. It's a very difficult one to do. I am a huge Tintin fan — I grew up on him and I'm looking to getting stuck in on this, but we're a little distant yet from actually having a script."

He also suggests that an adaptation of Prisoners of the Sun is probably going to happen eventually:

"The good news is if [Prisoners Of The Sun] is not the second film it'll be the third film so actually I could end up with two Tintins under my belt."

Clash of the Titans 3

Warner Bros. is apparently confident enough in the upcoming Clash of the Titans sequel Wrath of the Titans that they're ready to go ahead with a third, reportedly hiring Wrath co-writers Dan Mazeau and David Leslie Johnson to get to work on a third. Sam Worthington is expected to again return as Perseus for this third movie, as will his new sidekick Agenor, who is played by Toby Kebbell and will make his debut in Wrath. Jonathan Liebesman, who directed the underrated Battle: Los Angeles before moving onto Wrath, would reportedly be in contention to direct this third movie as well. [Heat Vision]

Wild Cards

Syfy Films - which I should probably stress is completely different from the people behind all those Syfy original films - have optioned George R.R. Martin's other well-known genre series. Here's Martin himself on what's ahead for his shared superhero universe:

We have just closed a deal with SyFy Films, a brand new joint venture of Universal Pictures and the SyFy Channel, for film and television rights to the Wild Cards series of mosaic novels and shared world anthologies. The plan is to begin with a Wild Cards feature film, for theatrical release. If that's successful, more features and a television series may follow. Melinda Snodgrass will write the screenplay. Part of the series since the very start, Melinda has been my assistant editor on most volumes of Wild Cards, and is the creator of many of the series most popular and iconic characters, including Dr. Tachyon and Double Helix. Snod will also serve as an executive producer on the film, as will I.

Breaking Dawn

Here's a TV spot.

Here's the official synopsis for episode seven, "Wallflower":

TIME IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH ON AN ALL-NEW "FRINGE" FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18, ON FOX - When a man mysteriously dies by an invisible force, his body rapidly begins turning ghostly white. The Fringe team learns that this is not an isolated incident, and there's evidence that links the predator to someone who passed away with an unknown genetic disorder. Meanwhile, Olivia suffers from migraines.

Joshua Jackson discusses Jared Harris's upcoming return as season one villain David Robert Jones:

"I don't want to give away the why [of Jones' return], because if you've been watching from the very beginning it's a very satisfying reveal. From a personal standpoint, the fact that we're basically going to go back to Season 1 and rehash all of that stuff is super-cool. [It's] the best of the stories I've been involved in since I've been back."

The episode was originally meant as the winter finale but has been pushed back to the second half of the season. Jackson promises that the episode will feature characters from all universes, plus lots more mythology stuff. [TV Line]

The Walking Dead

Melissa McBride discusses what it's like playing Carol, particularly now that her daughter Sophie is missing:

Playing Carol is almost like witnessing a car wreck. It didn't happen to you but you still have the sense of having witnessed this kind of terrible thing. As the day wears on, it kind of wears off a little. I also really love this part — I have a great interest in psychology and I enjoy trying to figure out what happens with Carol to elicit her reactions to things.

What's the most interesting part about playing Carol?
What's interesting now is her daughter has gone missing and this is her whole life, but also she's experiencing guilt about the search for this daughter that is bringing this group of people into some really horrifying circumstances that who knows if they would have gotten into had this not happened.

And while I don't think this will actually happen on the show, McBride does suggest a possible way Carol could get in on the zombie-killing action:

I was talking one of the producers the other day and she said she was walking through the farmhouse and she found a little basket with some knitting needles in there. Wouldn't that be kind of cool for Carol? A couple of knitting needles through some zombie's head, a little slip-stitch. [Laughs] Carol should have a tool belt with knitting needles and an iron skillet — we've got to get her a weapon!

Terra Nova

Here's a sneak peek at next Monday's episode, "Nightfall", which I'm just going to assume is an adaptation of that famous Isaac Asimov short story about the planet with the six suns... only with dinosaurs, of course. [Terra Nova TV]

Once Upon a Time

Josh Dallas reveals what's ahead for his character, Prince Charming:

"We're going all the way back to the origins of Snow White and Prince Charming. We're going to find out how they met; where they met; what his real name is; how he got the name Charming. We're going to find out a lot of information of his backstory and how that epic true love was kindled. You know, in fairytale land, it's a place that's visually very bright, where dreams can come true, and Storybrooke [is] darker; it's gray; it's colder; it's a place where time has stopped and we're all trapped there and no one has any memories and no one can get out.

"Storybrooke David is in some peril and in a coma. I will say that he's not in it for long, and so we're going to learn a lot more about him, and his story is yet to be discovered in Storybrooke. Who he is, who his family is, what his maybe real or false memories are…You will find out, you know, and it's what I'm finding out, too, as an actor, is finding out who this man is. Right now he's very lost and confused…Who knows? Maybe there is even two princes…Maybe there's even a prince and a pauper situation."

Various members of the show's production team have tweeted that the show has been picked up for a full season, which isn't all that surprising considering its initial ratings. [KSiteTV]

Jennifer Morrison says at least one of the show's mysteries won't be solved anytime soon:

"I've heard rumblings of ideas about Henry's father and how he fits into all of this, but that is something that is definitely going to take a long time to be revealed."

American Horror Story

Show creator Ryan Murphy previews next week's episode, "Piggy, Piggy":

"Piggy Piggy" is a really fun one for me, it's also a horrifying one because one of the things the show deals with is the "American horrors" that we deal with in our culture. Certainly, kids and violence is one of them. So the opening is beyond tense and very upsetting where we see the true story of Tate. Then, Eric Stonestreet comes on as a patient who is paralyzed by urban myths and legends like Bloody Mary. It's a pivotal one in the run of the show. It's sort of half-way there and we deal with all these questions about Tate that we have been dealing with so I think it's very momentous. What does he know? What doesn't he know? Why he did what he did? What does Violet find out about what he did? It's all that in there.

He also discusses Mena Suvari's casting as a character called the Black Dahlia, who is indeed meant to be the famous murder victim from the 1940s. He confirms the character will be seen in flashbacks with Dr. Montgomery, and he adds:

The interesting thing about that is there were over 60 people to step forward to say, "I was the killer of the Black Dahlia" so we wanna tell people what really happened to the Black Dahlia. You know it had to do with the f-ed up house!

As much as I like Stephen Lang, I just can't get with Terranova, it's is blah to me. Not much as far as True Blood spoilers go but other nonsense for the show and actors is posted, updated this morn-
