What’s In Your Gadget Bag, Rob?

A few years ago, Rob Malda started a weblog to talk about Linux, free software, and other generally nerdy things. He called the site Slashdot, and while it hasn’t really taken off yet (maybe that’s why you haven’t heard of it,) we wish Rob the best of luck with his little project in the future. Despite his ignominious accomplishments, we decided anyway to ask Rob — known in some circles as ‘CmdrTaco’ — what gadgets he was shlepping around these days:

• Right now my bag has a Nokia 3360 with a pretty much permanently dead battery (I hate getting cel phone calls so that suits me.)

• 20 gig iPod (the older ones, before the cradle with the built in Firewire port.)

Clie PEG-NZ90 (it has a decent 2 megapixel camera, so it is my PDA and Camera.)

• Gameboy Advance SP in which I currently have The Sims, Bustin’ Out. I also have Super Mario 3 in the bag, just in case I need some retro side scrolling action.

Beyond that, it’s just my car keys and some pencils.
