Toothing was supposed to be a hot new way to meet other ugly people, using a Bluetooth-enabled phone to solicit anonymous sex from other lonely hearts. But Jim Hanas asks a good question: Was it ever really happening in the first place? All the stories written about (including ours) pointed to sites that no longer function, or have slowed to a trickle. Is it possible that soliciting random people for intercourse isn’t as popular as it once was? That doesn’t seem right, because so many of you gave me the clap. But were there ever any toothers at all? If you had the balls or lack thereof to give it a whirl, strap them on/off again and let Jim know. He’s curious, for the sake of science.

Update: These guys are claiming it was all a hoax and that we helped kickstart it. If that’s true, I’m sort of honored.
