While Microsoft’s Connected Car technology is already being used in a variety of car platforms, these pictures illustrate some of the dangers in using a system that isn’t thoroughly tested. It’s probably reasonable to suppose Windows wouldn’t be controlling anything safety-related in a production vehicle (and I have no idea if this is the same Windows variant used in the Connected Car platform), but it’s a little unnerving, all the same.
