Being able to send a playing card whizzing across a room with a quick flick of the wrist is a neat party trick, but Joerg Sprave has always been more interested in slicing open targets than impressing party guests. So he used his mastery of the slingshot to design and build a weapon that uses regular old playing cards as ammunition.
Magicians like Ricky Jay are masters at not only manipulating cards, but also sending them flying across the room. But for the rest of us who don’t have decades of spare time to practice and master the craft, Joerg’s creation looks like a great shortcut for weaponizing a deck of cards. If anything, it will make your turn as dealer at your next poker night a memorable one.
