Bad news, folks. Prime Day is officially over. This big summer savings even from Amazon had stretched from Tuesday, June 23 all the way through Friday, June 26. Even though Amazon has closed its doors on the big deal, it seems a handful of discounts still snuck on through and are still live right now.
Take for instance this Anker Prime Docking Station. Normally sold for $270, you can now grab it for 35% off—left over from Prime Day and 4th of July deals (maybe it was something about the name). The Anker Prime docking station has had it price brought down to just $175, saving you $95 for a limited time.
A docking station lets you combine the flexibility of a laptop with the versatility of a desktop. Take you’re laptop wherever you need so you can get work done on the go, but when you’re at your desk, have it connected to multiple monitors, a better mouse and keyboard, and more accessories that help you stay productive. And it does so while reducing cable clutter by having everything funnel through a single unit.
Ultra-Fast Docking Station
The Anker Prime docking station is a 14-in-1 solution that can manage your peripherals such as multiple monitors, handle the transfer of data between devices, and even charge them too.
This unit is capable of charging at a total output of 160W. It’s equipped with three USB-C ports that can each handle a max of 100W in addition to a single USB-A port capable of 12W max.
These same USB-C ports can efficiently manage your data at super high speeds. The USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports can move data at up to 10Gbps. That’s more than 20 times faster than that USB 2.0 speeds of 480 Mbps.
The docking station supports connecting to up two screens at once across its dual HDMKI ports along the back end. Technically, you’ll be able to work on three screens at once when you include your own laptop screen as well. When using just one, you can support up to 4K resolution with refresh rates of up to 60Hz. Using both will cap you at 2K resolution with refresh rates of up to 60Hz. Something to note, only Windows laptops allow for the two connected screens to display different visual data. MacOS only supports mirror mode.
Anker has kitted out its Prime docking station with an LED display which can highlight important info about your devices at a glance, such as the total wattage and data speeds going out each port individually, or even visual alerts to inform you if an issue has been detected with your device such as overheating.
