Mockingjay

Lionsgate has announced that American Horror Story actress Lily Rabe is joining the two-part adaptation of the final book in The Hunger Games trilogy. She is set to play Commander Lyme, who – according to my 10-second, Google-based research – is “a past victor of an unknown Hunger Games, a Commander of the rebellion in District 2, and a strong independent woman.” [Coming Soon]

The Walking Dead

Twilight actress Christian Serratos has reportedly joined the cast of season four as Rosita Espinosa, based on the character of the same name that debuted in issue 53 of the comic book series. Rosita, who is rather unsurprisingly described as “tough and beautiful,” will be a recurring character in the upcoming season, but Serratos has an option to become a regular on the show in the all but assured fifth season. Once Upon a Time in Wonderland

Iggy Pop – whose career includes memorable guest turns on beloved nineties shows like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and The Adventures of Pete and Pete, plus some sort of musical career I’m far too mild-mannered to know anything about – has reportedly joined the cast of the Once Upon a Time spin-off as the voice of the Caterpillar. He takes over from original voice Roger Daltrey, who was unable to reprise the role because of scheduling conflicts – specifically, in an O. Henry-style twist, the fact that he now has to go on tour with the Stooges. [EW]

Let’s go to executive producer Marc Guggenheim for more:

“Michael Jai White is playing Bronze Tiger and he is such a badass. His performance, our kick-ass stunt department, our incredibly talented costumer designer, and our very gifted props master...they've all combined their A-games to create a really great representation of this DC Comics character… He's basically the best of the best, so he has come to Starling City to see if the Hood can give him a challenge. To that end, he has aligned himself with China White [Kelly Hu] and the Chinese Triad.”
