Gadgeteer review of the WinAmp Remote Control, which is designed to be used with the world’s most popular MP3 software player. It’s inexpensive, and looks really handy since more and more people are substituting their PCs for their stereo systems. But bizarrely, it only comes with a serial connector, rather than USB, making it pretty much useless for nearly anyone who bought a computer in the past two years. And to make matters worse, it doesn’t work with the most recent version of WinAmp.
