Further fulfilling our desire to use animals to help us generate music at our whim is the Din Datin Dudero—a worm-driven synthesizer. The worms writh and squirm, bumping into contact pins that modify the synth’s circuits and thus the sounds produced. Creator Peter Blasser explains:
The worms seem to like being electrically stimulated… With the din datin dudero, we can induce all sorts of new sensations in the worms – new waveshapes at new and unfelt speeds… They squirm into action as all the nodes are stimulating them and they crawl around touching thiings together and making it go crazy.
It’s the worms’ sexy party.
