Wurlitzer’s new ‘Digital Jukebox’ revamps an old stand-by with modern-day features, sacrificing classic jukebox charm for sleek modern lines. Designed to be a drop-in home audio system replacement, the Digital Jukebox includes a 3.5″ color touch-screen remote that operates over WiFi for long distance control and a built-in 80GB hard drive for storing your ripped music. WMA is the format of choice, although it appears that MP3 is supported, as well. In addition, the Jukebox can wirelessly transmit music to other ‘Zone Clients’ in your home (presumably one of the other two models in the Digital Jukebox line.)
As an all-in-one replacement for your other digital music systems, the Jukebox definitely seems to have all the bases covered — for $1,899, it had better. [Thanks, Dave!]
