X-2 Housing GIves You a (Relatively) Compact View 250 Feet Underwater

It looks complex, but put Inon's X-2 housing in perspective and you will appreciate its grace. Meant for Panasonic's micro four thirds GF1, the X-2 adds bulk, but only enough to make your camera around the size of an SLR.

This approach spares divers from adding thick casing to an SLR, and winding up something, well, much larger than an SLR. And with a window for the GF1's LCD screen, you won't need to squint through a viewfinder when you're at massive allowed depths of up go 246 feet. The X-2's beauty comes at a price, costing around $2,200 (and $150 for each attachable light), but really, when you're almost 250 feet underwater, don't skimp on equipment. [Inon via Wired]
