I’ve got no opinion on the overall quality of the upcoming X2 Stylebook from a computing standpoint—it looks like a pretty decent, if pedestrian laptop to me—but I am loving the branding idea. It’s one for the ladies, but instead of just making them pretty colors, they’re also selling matching bags and purses that complement the case designs. It’s not new heights in computing, I’ll grant you, but any shop that sells a faux alligator bag along with your green laptop is going to catch some eyes.
The Stylebooks will be available in pink [pictured], white, silver, black, lavender, blue, and green. Prices start at $1,300 and X2 hopes to have them on sale in both online and retail shops by the end of May.
