Next year, kickass astronomer Neil deGrasse Tyson launches a 13 episode reboot of Carl Sagan’s classic Cosmos on FOX. Unveiled today at Comic-Con, it looks amazing.
When I interviewed Tyson last year at the American Museum of Natural History, he told me that this show was in the works, being produced by Seth MacFarlane for FOX. Tyson was particularly happy about the FOX connection because he said he didn’t want to preach to the converted. He wants to reach mainstream America. And now it looks like he may just do that.
