Okay, Portable Video Players are so over. Sure, we’ve barely had any released here in the US, but they are just pouring out of Asia. Here’s another one, this time from Taiwanese manufacturer Arlink. It’s called the PMP 400, has a 5.8-inch screen, CF-card slot, and a 20GB hard drive.
What the article on Digital Media Thoughts doesn’t tell us, though, is what the resolution of the screen is. Right now that seems to be the main distinguishing factor on these devices. I wouldn’t settle for anything less than the 700 some-odd pixels the DVX-POD can do, for instance.
