Doberman has released their Mini Mobile Alert. It is a pretty simple device that will potentially save you quite a bit of money. Attach one end of the device to your valuable gadget and attach the other to a belt-loop or something of the sort. If it is pulled the Mini Mobile Alert will let out a 95 decibel alarm that will hopefully scare attackers away and annoy everyone around you until you figure out how to deactivate it. It could also be helpful in situation where cellphones and other gadgets fall out of pockets unnoticed. It is available in pink or blue for $10. Better to look a little goofy than be out a $400 cellphone or iPod. – Travis Hudson
