    Rumor: Xbox 360 Gets $100 Price Drop This Xmas

    Don't believe everything you read, but the Xbox 360 may just be $100 cheaper by the time winter rolls around. This means you could possibly buy an Xbox 360 for half the price of a Playstation 3—quite a deal when you consider the Microsoft console is just as "next generation" as Sony's, save for the whole Blu-ray playback thing.

    Nonetheless, if this is true, it would definitely put a damper on the PS3 launch. Why go with a console with first generation launch games that's uber expensive when you can have one that has two Christmases worth of games, some of which are actually pretty good? – Jason Chen
