Okay, so this may not be groundbreaking technology or gadget-y out the wazoo, but if you are a cat owner and don’t own something like this, then shame on you. Toys like this can keep a cat entertained for hours on end and best of all; it doesn’t require you to get up from your chair. This remote control mouse from Smarthome includes rechargeable batteries and “life-like” mouse movements … because plastic mice are capable of being life-like. I’m still wondering why the hell the remote control looks like a hamburger. $20
