You don't have to be the kind of guy who wears sweaters around his neck, owns tiny dogs and has friends named Chazz to enjoy great art. With the world of electronics expanding at such a rapid pace, it is no wonder that more and more artists are using gadgets as a medium for their work. That means that even the biggest gadget geeks can enjoy a little culture now and then. There are tons of works out there already, so consider the following 10 pieces as an introduction into the world of crazy gadget art.

RUBIK'S CUBE IS MAD CRAZY!
Wow, just yesterday I went to an art seminar where a flash animator spoke. I am an art major who is also a nerd. When the visiting artist was talking he mentioned the technology problems they where facing. Well, my nerd broke free of my artist and asked a nerdy question that made about 5 people look up what I was talking about. The visiting artist had no answer and the teacher glared at me. To relate to the article I thought about how I can incorporate gadgets/tech in my art. Thanks for the ideas I might just have to appropriate.
Holy crap! I've got to find that motorcycle made of computer parts. That thing is pretty cool. I've got my wall plastered with hard drive platters to give me a nice mirror (soooo much lost data). That motorcycle would be a nice conversation piece (albeit geeky).
Yellow: more goatse-inspired art.
Sweet.
LEGOatse?
YEEESSSS!!! Sigh....I already miss the Blip Festival.
My whole major in college was based on this principle, it was called Arts Technology. Basically using digital technology for fine-arts sake. Everything from visual art, music & audio, theater & performance art, sculpture, etc. It was pretty cool, though I can't say there is much of a job market in fine arts. :(
Can't tell if that was an iPod...but it's most definitely iCrap now!
@yougottabekidding: It was.
