According to a new rumor from The Cosmic Circus, Angela Bassett is set to reprise her role as Queen Mother Ramonda in Black Panther 3, which will introduce the concept of the Ancestral Plane.
Hallowarrior
Bloody-Disgusting reports Hallowarrior, a film starring Hereditary‘s Milly Shapiro as “the last girl on earth scavenging the wasteland for supplies on the eve of Halloween” will debut on Shudder this October 16.
The Influencer Project

Doctor Who
In a statement released to Radio Times, Dean Devlin denied he’s had conversation about the future of Doctor Who with the BBC, but his company “certainly hope[s] to have a discussion with them” in the future.
It is untrue that we have had negotiations with the BBC. Preliminary or otherwise. When the proper time comes when they are prepared to speak with people, we certainly hope to have a discussion with them.
Crystal Lake
During a recent panel attended by Bloody-Disgusting, Crystal Lake showrunner Brad Caleb Kane seemed anxious that Friday the 13th fans would be bored by the “first four” episodes of the series, which he described as being a “bit of a paranoid conspiracy thriller.” However, Pamela Voorhees does indeed begin killing people in creative ways by the end of the season, which he hopes “will satisfy the real hunt hack-and-slash fans.”
You watch the first four episodes, and you go ‘Okay. They are telling a story, and there’s a little bit of paranoid conspiracy thriller here, and it’s a psychological devolution or evolution, however you want to put it; but where’s Friday the 13th‘? Pam goes full Friday the 13th in this season, and you will see it. There are a series of kills that are everything the movies do, and, hopefully, it will satisfy the real hunt hack‑and‑slash fans, too; we build to it, but it’s coming.
I think the biggest conceptual issue was people know what to expect from a Friday the 13th, or at least they know what a Friday the 13th movie should be. Teens go out to a place, they are having sex and doing drugs, and then they are hunted by Mrs. Voorhees or Jason in the subsequent films. But, thankfully, we weren’t making a Friday the 13th movie. They are going to make another Friday the 13th movie, which I’m sure will be Friday the 13th to the max; but this was called Crystal Lake, and we were doing a story about the town and a prequel about Jason’s mom, and it was really fresh snow.
We could build it however we wanted. And feeling ownership for the franchise as a long‑time fan and a lover of it, truly die‑hard lover, I kind of knew what I wanted to see as a grown‑up Friday the 13th fan, as somebody who these movies opened doors for and opened my eyes and I was thrilled watching them with thousand‑seaters full of people yelling at the screen. But I also grew up a little bit and became interested in other films and other themes in films, and I wanted to bring all of that cinema love to my love for Friday the 13th. So I was really given carte blanche, but I wanted also to honor the fans of those original movies and myself as an original fan of those movies by giving as many Easter eggs as made sense within the context of this story as possible, and I think we did that a lot. We re‑create things, which I won’t spoil here.
Daredevil: Born Again
During a recent panel at GalaxyCon in Raleigh, North Carolina (via The Direct), Vincent D’Onofrio confirmed there’s a six-month gap between the second and third seasons of Daredevil: Born Again.
There’s a lot of action in season and it we picked up literally only six months after the second season ends. So, [Daredevil] went to prison, I got exiled somewhere. I’m not going to say where but I am and then, you know, because we can’t help it we get back together again. But you know, it’s a completely different feeling inside and out during the new iteration.
The Body
Netflix has released its first look at The Body, an upcoming eight-episode miniseries in which “a group of badly behaved Catholic school girls who begin having prophetic visions that set off mass hysteria in their town” after a dance-team initiation goes wrong.

Finally, Adult Swim has released a clip from its upcoming Robot Chicken anniversary special.
