The Wedisk USB 2.0 thumb drive has its USB connector located where the IR receptor is, coming out only when you press the A button. The Wedisk is available in either 1GB, 2GB, 4GB or 8GB flavors, but apparently it's only available as a mass-produced item, on request. [SolarMemo — Thanks, Chris]

thats about the dumbest thing i've seen today, and believe me, I live in rural arkansas
@Zander: Considering the array of items that have been featured here on Gizmodo with USB flash drives shoved up 'em I would consider this one of the BETTER thought out entries.
-but maybe word of those haven't made it out there yet?
* With that in mind, maybe it would be interesting to have a huge photo collection of ALL the different flash drives that have been featured on Gizmodo to date?
It would be a very large collection.
The LED should be blue and is not placed correctly. With no write speeds mentioned I guess it is more 'fun' than useable.
@Zander:
I know it's dumb... I know it's useless... but am I the only one that has a strange compulsion to buy one for no reason at all?
Hey, this was my idea from way back when. I decided that I would get a toy mini wiimote, and mod it into a USB stick.
@LUDWIGK Yup, I remember.
When Wendy's had those stupid Wii toys about a year ago, the "wand" that moved the Mario on the Koopa shell could be easily converted to take pretty much any USB stick.
But, yeah @METKIS, the A button activator makes me wanna grab one as well...
Whoops, my links didn't work. Sorry.
The need to make a fakin' switchblade handle for these. Super TUFF.
I remember the borrowers!
@vicsells:
I JUST got that reference in the title, when I saw your post... The Borrowers! I get it! That's funny.
