the subliminal messaging rocks!
@General Tsao aka Ivan the Impaler: Are you sure? And if you know about it, was it really subliminal?
so much can be said...
- At the end when the girl says mister, but the guy says doctor. Pro.
- Or how the baker almost gets her hair stuck. It's easy to see how she got that broken arm.
- And was the doctor licenced? I mean, let's see some credentials.
Oh. My. God.
I wish I could go home now and start the weekend off on that note.
That was the best thing I've ever seen in my life!
Now that's funny, FROOCHI!
@tehronin: Ok, it's not really subliminal it's more "attempted subliminal" or perhaps I should say the rapidly flashing images throughout the piece (that moved - just sub-subliminally) were very pleasing to me personally.
@General Tsao aka Ivan the Impaler: Wasn't trying to be a troll, that was my Jack Handy thought of the day.
prime minister of Malaysia bad...martial arts GOOOOOOOOD
I did love that spoof though, in quite a few ways. Fruch, this makes up for that xbox 360 stumblefuck posted earlier
@duckballs: Who cares about licensing- the real question is, does he row his own boat?
If this ran on air in a block of ads, they'd get calls for sure. Brilliant.
Did Docta computa break miss' computa's arm?
@SirDrinksalot:
miss' poota said 0 when she shoulda said 1
Seth Rogan's lesser-known twin brother was a crap actor...
Clockwork Orange meets Geek Squad, lay off the Milk+
Lets face it- Maximum security inmates are probably a safer bet than Geek Squad
Love the image they used for a keyboard. Is this ad one of those Long Island prime time commercials they show only during sweeps? Wow. And I thought my Bostonian accent was bad.
He must have worked on that accent while waiting for his Brooklyn style Domino's Pizza to arrive....
I love that Brooklyn accent on a woman....hhmmmmmm :D.
Reminds me of the ad:
"Double your IQ or no money back!"
I believe I just wasted time.
Makes me proud to be Polish.
Heeey Docta Computa!
He's alright so the rest of you SHAAADAAAP!
(Hey...Hey, You can't park that dea!)
Nice.
Well, for those of you who wanted to know where to go, [www.plmicro.com] is their website. It says they opened in 2001, so I don't know how many Tandy's they were fixing.
"Mouses?"
Where's doctor grammer when you need him!
@Rob C:
What about Doctor Spelling?
@strider_mt2k: No no Strider. It's: "Hey boddy, you keant pahk that deah! Wha?!? You gotta fuggin problam wi-dat?"
I can't belive I'm making fun of my own accent :)
@discounteggroll:
*applause*
Anywho, this is a bloody amalgamation of scary and brilliant, leaning toward the former.
There were subliminal messages? I watched it twice and didnt see them. I must be the kind of person they load those messages in for. (Unless you meant all that useless crap flying in and out of the "ad", and if thats subliminal messaging then Madison Avenue should burn down.)
I did love the cutting edge technology though.....
I would guess that this place is in Greenpoint, Brooklyn? Why you say? Because Greenpoint is a Polish community. The ad is laced with the polish flag and eagle along with an image of a polish soccer player. Though, that is not a polish accent.
Sounds very much like the muffin video on youtube. They definitely stole the style
+ Watch video
I'd say it's more Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job! Anyone who says that show isn't the best ever has daddy issues.
I used them once and they made a house call so I didnt have to bring my box anywhere. Nice enough people and they did their job, plus I could see what they were doing the whole time so I know they didn't steal my pron
