I messed around with Novint's Falcon haptically endowed globe/joystick at Tokyo Game Show last year. It was neat, but not going to replace my mouse—in part because game support was lacking. Now it'll be supported in real, live games from EA: Madden NFL 08, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, Need For Speed ProStreet, Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142. But! Even if you're already one of the suckers lucky souls who already owns a Falcon, it'll cost you another $10 to patch a game to get all touchy-feely with it. FWIW, there are definitely better tactile experiences out there for 10 bucks. [Level Up]

What exactly would those be and where would I find them? Also, if they come with diseases I'm not interested.
I lost my booklet with the key for BF2142 ;-( Got a shiny new Gaming rig, 4 gigs ram, dual core 3ghz AMD cpu. Thanks for reminding me how I can't install it Giz. Oh well,.. Back to Steam, ..come-on Assassin's Creed, 2 and a half days left!
It's $10 per game?
@Cyborg28: and to add, if they are from a man dressed like a chick, i'm not interested either.
Ah yes, 'official EA support'...
It seems like only yesterday that many Macs were wastelands devoid of games. That was until EA pledged it's support and completely turned the tables for the device. Today the name Apple is synonymous with gaming.
i've used this thing...my main problem with it was that the device couldnt physically move as fluidly or as quickly as it would need for FPS. Dont take my words too seriously however, i only used a public(ly abused) one for about 5 or 10 minutes before going to class (they had shown up at my school and i had some time to blow).
Thats funny, EA supports this touch controller while its EA sports division virtually abandons the PC gamer market.
