The Blackberry 9000 isn't due out till July or August, but a pair of distributor pre-release models have already hit eBay and been purchased by two anonymous buyers. Remarkable not only for the legit-looking set of new pics confirming HSDPA and the 4.X OS, but also because this powerseller apparently has a time machine at his disposal, reaching all the way back pre-August 2007 to get 'em. If you're reading this and happen to be one those lucky buyers, hit us up. Course, we're still waiting for the Blackberry that's over 9000. [eBay, Thanks iomatic]

OVER 9000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man I love the Battery life on BB devices.
@MONSTERGOC: That's a joke, right? I love my BB, but man does my battery drain fast. Maybe it's the flood of e-mail I get every day from work. I've maxed out my filters too, I think, and can't add any more subjects to the list of things to stop coming to my handheld.
The background looks like the PS3 interface with a Verizonesque vibe with it.
@junk: I got my Curve and the battery life is almost 3 days till a full recharge. I like to condition the battery. ;)
man I was about to get a red curve to go with my red zune 80 last month from Rogers, this looks sweet, any news on the different colours available?
i still dont dont see the little pearl that the other one had in the previous blockberry....does anyone see it??
@Beard Police: WHAT? 9000?!?!
Color matching your gadgets? Isn't that one of the 7 deadly sins?@wetworker:
When! Will they stop! Fucking up the keyboards! Jesus!
The early BBs had the best keyboards in the business. I have to use my thumbnails on the 8703, and this thing looks like I'll have to use my thumbnails WHILE LOOKING AT IT. That made them awesome. That (and Mobitex, which has also been abandoned) is what gave them the market. These people are WAY off message.
@sleepyyazo: Um, yeah. It's right in the middle, where it's supposed to be.
@junk: Mine too. I've had the current phone for 11 months. It lasts about a day and won't hold a full charge. (Full disclosure: I'm bad about battery maintenance.)
Not too shabby. Judging by the pics alone, I think they finally understood, Blackberry users don't have time to admire the gimmicky UI.
Love the clean interface.
