Veeeeeeeeeeeeery nice.....!
I can watch that thing all day...
Pretty, but useless unless its some art form, or something to watch when youre so stoned ANYTHING looks cool, including watching the laundry spin.
Reminds me of Spiral Graph.
12345, 678910 11 12 doo doodoodo
so it's like a giant etch-a-sketch?
It's like a real life screen saver. Mesmerizing.
Can I call this invention sisyphean?
@Curves: Its kind of useless as an art form too. Its called CAD, some human created that on a computer and the machinery is just replicating it in sand.
good conversation piece when company comes over. be even better if it could replicate porn!
@scarbrtj: Anything is better than its real name. Sounds too much like Syphilis.
This robot just put all those sand raking Japanese shinto monks out of work
Make a much smaller one, make it cheap, and I'll take one for my desk at work.
Very nice. The next step, of course, is how to transfer the technology that keeps the sand off the ball to humans-- so that when I go to the beach, the sand stays off my balls.
@Sora57: you win
That definitely takes balls!
It would be very "Zen" sans all the noise chatter in the background.
(Hits mute button, better.)
@Argyle: Not really, they can all raise to management level and watch it do the work for them.
@Kaiser-Machead: I would hope you know what Sisyphus refers to. Greek mythology. Yep.
