Nokia is really getting their ass handed to them in the smartphone market, and this remote input sleeve patent hints at one way the company is thinking about the future.

The idea, of course, is to use wearable electronics to control the UI across a range of gadgets—but I’ll be dammed if I need to wear a glove or some sort of band aid to control my devices.
