Unusually Bashful Motorola Zeppelin Android World Phone Spied in China

A terrible blemish? A crack? Sexually explicit default wallpaper? Whatever the reason, we’re not allowed to see the front of Moto’s GSM/CDMA world phone, the Android-powered Zeppelin. But we can see the back, and so we will.

Snapped by Chinese site DIGI.QQ, the Zeppelin is an odd duck: It looks rugged, with an etched rubber back and what appears to be some kind strap anchor, and cracked open, it reveals twin compatibility, for both CDMA and GSM carriers. In other words it may be, as DIGI.QQ calls it, the first Android travel phone. This seems reasonable!

Other specs include a 3.1-inch 480×320 screen, a 5-megapixel camera with flash and HDMI output. Release is unofficially pegged at Q1 for China, with a wider release later, though I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see this one sit tight in Asia for a while. [DIGI.QQ via AndroidOS.in via Engadget]
