Unsurprisingly, Chinese iPad Knockoffs Are Here

With the iPad still not available overseas and demand high, it's not too surprising that there are knockoffs available in Shenzhen already. And hey, this one has three USB ports! Better than the original, amirite?

For a mere $410 you too can own a tablet computer with the aforementioned USB ports running the Windows OS. Although the seller admits that they're gonna get better than this.

"This is just the first rough version," Lin said in Cantonese. "While the shape isn't quite the same, the external appearance is very similar to the iPad, so we don't think it will affect our sales that much."

And really, a tablet running Windows is not new nor is it exciting. But when you can't get an iPad, I guess you take what you can get. [Reuters via Gadget Lab]
