A new era at Apple is upon us. Newly appointed CEO John Ternus is now at the helm of the $4.75 trillion-dollar company, and the first foldable iPhone is reportedly going to be announced this Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the company’s “Surprise and Shine” event at Apple Park.
While the foldable iPhone will likely steal the show, we’re also expecting to see the rumored iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max, Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4, and AirPods 5.
Raymond Wong, Gizmodo’s Senior Editor of Consumer Tech, and Adriano Contreras, Gizmodo’s Social Media Editor, will be reporting live from the Steve Jobs Theater before, during, and after the keynote, which kicks off at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT.
In an internal memo sent to staff on his first day as CEO, Ternus said the launch “is going to be phenomenal.” Let’s see if Apple can change the world again. Be sure to bookmark this page and check back often as we live blog it all.
