Rick Santorum decisively owned three GOP votes last night. On the internet, however, things aren’t going so well: Santorum’s top Google result is still “The frothy mix of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the byproduct of anal sex.”

At the moment, Dan Savage’s legendary Google bomb retaliation against then-senator Santorum for being a homophobe, SpreadingSantorum.com, is number one, followed by the candidate’s official presidential website. A Wikipedia entry about the anal sex neologism is the fourth result. “Rick Santorum,” on the other hand, yields his election site on top, with the butt froth definition ranking third.

So, a few questions. Are most curious Republicans googling “santorum” or “rick santorum”? Titan politicians tend to go by their last names—Obama, Pelosi, Romney—rather than the full thing, which would mean a lot of embarrassing clicks for Rick.

But more importantly, will Santorum’s political career ever be enough to dislodge the (hilarious) shame site? He’s arguably at the peak of his electoral existence, and still coming in second. Short of actually becoming president or some intervention by Google, it doesn’t look like he’ll move up the page.
