Board games will eventually all be played on tablets. Say goodbye to the thrill of rolling dice, say hello to a random number generator. Developed by GIC, DICE+ are Bluetooth cubes that bring the tactile joy back to tablet board games.

The concept is pretty simple: the dice talk to your tablet and tell it what you rolled. They carry built-in, anti-cheat detection so no more forcing your roll on your little brother. The dice are supposedly compatible with iOS, Android, Symbian, Linux and Windows, and they’ll reportedly cost between $30 and $40 when they’re out later this year. [Engadget via Dice+]
