When technology advances sufficiently, it is indiscernible from magic. When music does the same, it becomes art. Case in point, this fully-analog tune from San Francisco-based electronica duo, Mantle Sound Core.
Comprised of Mark Shvartsman and Mic Pistol, the band employed a pair of drum machines (the Roland TR808 and TR606), two analog audio synthesizers (the Roland SH101 and the Korg MS20), a pair of analog video synths (the LZX Visionary and the Atari C240), and a wall of vintage boomboxes to create this incredible sound.
