On April 25th photographer Tamas Ladanyi took consecutive exposures of the first partial lunar eclipse of the year. Shooting from Tihany, Hungary near Lake Balaton, Ladanyi captured the 27-minute solar event. The next partial lunar eclipse will take place from May 9 to 10 and will be visible from Northern Australia, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific. [Tamas Ladanyi via NASA]
