Are you obsessed with gadgets, apps, and technology in all its many forms? Come work with us! Gizmodo is seeking part-time researchers to analyze, report and write about consumer electronics and tech.

This is an ideal job for a person who wants to learn the tech blogging ropes. You’ll work with Gizmodo staffers to find and research consumer tech stories, go to product launches, and write news and reviews. The job is 10 hours per week, for $12.50 an hour. We are especially interested in hiring people in New York City and San Francisco, but will consider applicants from anywhere on the globe — as long as you have a reliable internet connection and can be online during US working hours.

Please send us a cover letter, resume, and links to three samples of your writing online (even posts on Tumblr, Facebook, or your personal blog are fine — anything to give us a sense of how you write about technology). You must have a passion for consumer electronics — show us what you know about gadgets in your cover letter and samples!

Deadline for applications: July 20, by midnight eastern time.

Send your application to: futurejobs at gizmodo.com
