It's something many pet-owners have thought about—don't lie!—but according to research undertaken in the UK, 1/10 pets in Britain have either a Facebook, Twitter or YouTube account. My pet's on Facebook; I call him "Sam." [The Telegraph]
I love my cat and there are plenty of pictures of him on my Facebook page, but what would I gain by giving him his own page? Would he be friends with other cats? "Like" catfood and toys? It's all just pointless.
Same thing with people who make pages for their newborn babies.
