From the Library of Congress and State Historical Society of Colorado comes this bizarre series of photographs of bulldogs (who have been dead for decades) dressed like jaunty Homo sapiens. They’re somehow less dignified than those 1800s cat photographs, less creepy than Dogville, and are giving me flashbacks to Jack Kirby’s post-apocalyptic England.
