You can put as much faith in this rumor as all the usual Apple rumors, but Mac Rumors says there’s been talk of a re-vamped iMac line coming at the Apple event on September 12. The new gear this time: an 23-inch iMac with Core 2 Duo. Supposedly, the 17 and 20-inch iMacs are also getting Core 2 Duos, so if you’re thinking of buying one now for Back To School, hold up for a few weeks.
