Dell’s May catalog lists the next version of their Mini 10 netbook—the functionally identical 10v—for $299, a full $100 less than its predecessor. Smart move, as price has always been the Mini series’ biggest weakness.

Of course, the Mini 10—and indeed everyone on of the dozens of indistinguishable Atom/1GB RAM/120GB HDD netbooks—is more-or-less a last-gen product, so you’ll be getting what you pay for. The catalog indicates availability from “Mid-May”, which should be any day now. [Dell via Engadget]
