The Sun Eclipsed by Earth and the International Space Station

There was a partial solar eclipse today. The Moon partly obscured the Sun, but photographer Thierry Legault found something else blocking a tiny bit of our home star’s light: The International Space Station.

Such a tiny speck of metal and glass. Legault had to go to Oman in order to capture the Moon and the ISS in the same frame—an amazing feat. [Bad Astronomy]
