A notice supposedly leaked from retailer 7-Eleven (which sells video games in Japan) requests that orders of all 80GB PS3s cease this Sunday, and all in-store displays of these models be taken down—”at the maker’s request”.
If true, this presents at least two possibilities: Either the 160GB PS3 is finally headed to Sony’s home turf, or they’ve got something else cookin’ (wishful thinking, perhaps).
