You love your pet a lot. You buy the fancy food and only the best toys. You have a collection of sweaters so she doesn't get cold in winter. But do you love your pet enough to spend $35,000 converting your spacious California home into an animal fantasy land?
This California man does.
It's sort of an unfair question, though, because the owner of this suburban home near Santa Barbara doesn't have one pet. He has eighteen pets, all of them cats.
And they must be the happiest cats on Earth, after he spent the price of a BMW 1-series adding an insane series of ramps, walkways, and ledges, of "custom tunnels and paths," to his home so that they could have fun adventures without going outside.

Save big with this Samsung sale
If you’re ready to drop some cash on a TV, now’s a great time to do it. You can score the 75-inch Samsung Q70A QLED 4K TV for a whopping $800 off. That knocks the price down to $1,500 from $2,300, which is 35% off. This is a lot of TV for the money, and it also happens to be one of the best 4K TVs you can buy right now, according to Gizmodo.
The owner also installed a special spiral step and climbing pole next to an aquarium in his office.
He even installed a special ventilation system to keep the air clean.
But don't feel bad if you haven't gone to such lengths to make your own pet's life so special. All it takes is a bowl full of food, some cuddle time, and a high-five here and there to show your affection.
Frankly, if your house is full of cats looking down from every shelf, step, and ledge, there's a good chance they're the only thing you actually love in that place. [Inthralld, Trillium]
From the outside, the house looks pretty normal!
