Amazon clearly thinks that moms are a key demographic—it even offers a Prime-style membership for moms. There isn’t an analog for cool dads, but Amazon is running a few good promotions for Father’s Day, and you don’t even have to be a dad to get the savings.

Right now you can take $20 off any Kindle Fire HD with the code DADSFIRE. This isn’t the deepest discount we’ve ever seen on this tablet—we’ve seen $20 discounts twice before—but since the Kindle Fire is already one of the least expensive tablets worth buying, that’s still money in the bank. [Amazon]
The more exciting Father’s day promotion is a 20% discount on selected clothing items. Amazon’s clothing promotions are sometimes frustrating—I assume they’re working the kinks out—but it looks like there’s a lot of good stuff that the discount applies to, like Levi’s jeans. Make sure the size you want is fufilled by Amazon, and plug in the code 2ODADSI3. [Amazon]
Two easy suggestions:
• Levi’s 501 Jeans ($32) | Amazon | Originally $40
• Dockers Alpha Khakis | Amazon

Earlier today Buy.com was selling yearlong subscriptions to Xbox Live Gold for $20, which is an unprecedented price.
Before, the lowest we’d ever seen it at was $35. Especially since it looks like current Xbox Live subscriptions will also work on the Xbox One, it was a pretty sick deal. In any case, Ebay blew threw 4000 of them in minutes. For deals that hot, we like to promote them on Twitter—so if you don’t want to miss them, follow @dealzmodo, and while you’re at it, follow me @kifleswing.
Are we going to see another Xbox Live Gold fire sale like this one? Quite possibly.
