Avengers: Age of Ultron

Latino Review's Umberto Gonzalez has a new rumor that focuses on Carol Danvers herself, Captain Marvel. Allegedly the character has been cast (although a script is not ready yet), and the character will appear at the end of Age of Ultron:

RT! HOT #MARVEL #RUMOR ABOUT #CAPTAINMARVEL #SPOILER Apparently, from what I'm being told, the rumor is that the studio has cast the role of Carol Danvers & keeping it top secret. I'm also being told we will first see her in #AVENGERS #AgeofUltron as originally written in previous drafts of the screenplay. In terms of the standalone film, the Marvel brain trust has blocked out the plot & story with the intention of bringing an established writer to write the script. Comic writer Kelly Sue DeConnick wanted to take a crack at writing the screenplay but I'm not sure if she got the gig. Also, I'm told legendary comic writer Jim Starlin, who has a rich history with Captain Marvel is aboard the project as a consultant. All of the above is #UNCONFIRMED so take with grain of salt until further notice but it's within the realm of plausibility.

Terminator Genisys

Speaking of Latino Review, they've also allegedly revealed Matt Smith's role in the movie: a human embodiment of Skynet:

In Terminator: Genisys Matt Smith plays the embodiment of Skynet. Similar to Helena Bonham Carter's role in McG's Terminator: Salvation, Smith will be the antagonist system given form, different from the nebulous corporate villainy ofTerminator 2: Judgement Day and vague apocalypse technophobia of the first.

Here's Dwayne Johnson about preparing for the role of Black Adam, as well as a brief comment about the casting process for Shazam:

"No…" Johnson said when asked if he knew who was stepping into Shazam's boots. "I can't wait to share more casting news by the way. No, we haven't picked a Shazam yet, and we have been working on the script. Half the scripts [have] already come in. Fantastic, very excited about it. And what I'm really excited about is — because, again, I've lived with this character, and this opportunity for almost 10 years now, so it's like, in my DNA! I'm like a little kid, and it's the opportunity to create his journey, but that journey has to start out properly."

Badass Digest has a rumor that reshoots for the film will focus on re-adding Scott Lang's criminal background to the film. This aspect of the character was initially cut, but after the success of the roguish leads of Guardians of the Galaxy, Marvel are apparently more welcome to Lang keeping his thieving roots.

Mad Max: Fury Road

Here's a new synopsis for the film:

From director George Miller, originator of the post-apocalyptic genre and mastermind behind the legendary "Mad Max" franchise, comes "Mad Max: Fury Road," a return to the world of the Road Warrior, Max Rockatansky. Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max (Tom Hardy) believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa (Charlize Theron). They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne), from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War.

X-Men: Apocalypse

More from Latino Review's Umberto Gonzalez again, this time on some cameos in the movie:

RT! BONUS #HOT #MARVEL #SCOOP Source tells me that X-MEN: APOCALYPSE begins principal photography in Montreal on April 28th & will feature cameos of Hugh Jackman's #Wolverine, Halle Berry's #Storm & get this...Channing Tatum's #GAMBIT! BOOM! #XMEN #APOCALYPSE #SCOOP #2016

Likewise, here's a new synopsis for the fantasy adventure from Warner Bros.:

From director Joe Wright comes "Pan," a live-action feature presenting a wholly original adventure about the beginnings of the beloved characters created by J.M. Barrie.Peter (Levi Miller) is a mischievous 12-year-old boy with an irrepressible rebellious streak, but in the bleak London orphanage where he has lived his whole life those qualities do not exactly fly. Then one incredible night, Peter is whisked away from the orphanage and spirited off to a fantastical world of pirates, warriors and fairies called Neverland. There, he finds amazing adventures and fights life-or-death battles while trying to uncover the secret of his mother, who left him at the orphanage so long ago, and his rightful place in this magical land. Teamed with the warrior Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara) and a new friend named James Hook (Garrett Hedlund), Peter must defeat the ruthless pirate Blackbeard (Hugh Jackman) to save Neverland and discover his true destiny—to become the hero who will forever be known as Peter Pan.

Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice

A rumor is going around that more information about the movie — and possibly even a trailer — will appear at Wonder Con next month. The speculation is largely from the revelation of a previously unannounced Warner Bros. movie presentation on the Saturday of Wonder Con, April 4th. No other details were revealed other than that the panel is an hour long, so for now it's largely just a whole hunk of speculation. [ Fansided]

Live Action Star Wars TV Show

Cineflix is reporting that Disney and Lucasfilm are reconvening on a live action television venture set in the Star Wars universe.

The series allegedly won't be based on George Lucas' old plans for a crime-family TV show, which was in the works for years — but rather, a new concept based on a character who's set to be introduced as part of the ' Journey to Force Awakens' initiative to expand the new universe ahead of Episode VII. This show could act as the equivalent of Agents of SHIELD for the Star Wars universe — right down to also airing on ABC. Apparently it's still a long way off though, because of the process of filming the new movies taking up so much time.

As ever, this is all unconfirmed and from anonymous sources, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Agents Of SHIELD

Elizabeth Henstridge and Iain De Caestecker sat down with Comic Book Resources to talk about the currently rocky status of Fitzsimmons:

De Caestecker: I suppose what's happened from the start of Season Two up to midseason is, they've become a lot stronger as individuals, I think. But I think they still care for and need each other a lot, and they also work better together when they are together. But I think there's a lot of things that have still been unsaid and will hopefully come out, certain confrontations that are still bubbling under.

Henstridge: I don't think they fully realize the implication of how far apart they are. There's so much hurt there. I don't think they realize what they're sacrificing by not figuring this out. When that comes to light, that he's kept [Skye's transformation] from her, that's the start of trying to chip away at, "This is what it's going to be like if we don't figure this out — it's going to be secrets." It also pains her that he would have to carry a burden and she wouldn't be able to ease that pain. It's going to get muddier before it gets clear, but this is potentially the first step at trying to figure their relationship out.

American Horror Story: Hotel

Chloë Sevigny has been confirmed to return as a series regular. [ Shock Till You Drop]

Here's David Ramsey on tonight's wedding, big changes coming up, and the return of the Suicide Squad:

TVLINE | So, what happens? The wrong color flowers get delivered, the violinist is late…? What sort of drama is on tap?

Deadshot, Floyd Lawton (played by Michael Rowe), shows up, and with him comes the Suicide Squad. And with that comes A.R.G.U.S. So, yeah, they have something to say about our honeymoon plans.

" TVLINE | By multiple accounts, Episode 19, "Broken Arrow," sounds pretty heavy….

Yes. Listen, from, really, [Episodes] 16, 17 on, to 23 [the season finale], it's just ramping up. Ra's al Ghul is no joke. And he's going to get what he wants from Oliver one way or another. One way or another it's going to happen. And speaking of Lyla and Diggle, they're going to be affected in a very serious way by Ra's al Ghul, because no one is off limits to him getting what he wants. In an upcoming episode, they will be touched in a personal way.

Variety has revealed that Jim Beaver will return to the show at long last, in Season 10's 17th episode. Here's a brief synopsis:

Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) need a little help from someone in heaven, so they turn to Bobby (Beaver). Elsewhere, Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) face off.

The Flash

Peyton List talks about a potential return for Lisa Snart:

There's been all this talk about the Flash's rogues banding together. Do you feel the door has been left open for the Golden Glider's return?

It's still a mystery to me, which is sort of exciting. I've done a couple of jobs where they will lay it out for you, like what's going to happen down the road, so you can hint at it along the way. Then I've done jobs where you are completely in the dark. You're like the audience, where you're figuring out as you are going along. With a show like this, it's a bit of both. You have the comics and you know essentially what could happen. But, then they also have their liberties in their storytelling. You can guess at what's going to happen, but at the same time, I am excited to see the next step. Am I coming back? What's going to happen next and how will the story play out?
