A short, intriguing teaser for a film called Code 8 just hit the web, and it looks like the best of Chappie and Almost Human, with a dash of X-Men thrown in.
The teaser tells us that 4% of the population possess ‘abnormal’ abilities’, and that that small number make up 60% of arrests, before jumping to a clip of a drone dropping robotic police officers onto a street.
Short, sweet, and we’re intrigued.

There’s not much there, but the film, directed by Jeff Chan and written by Chris Pare, will be released on March 22nd, and will star Robbie Amell, Sung Kang, Aaron Abrams, Chad Donella, and Alfred Rubin Thompson.
There’s no official description or even information about how it’ll be released (we’re guessing Video on Demand), but we’ll find out in just a couple of days.
