Something strange is going on with Apple prices. There have always been a few small discounts on Apple goods, but rarely have there been so many on the newest models. During the Christmas season, Best Buy and Walmart had a price-matching war on the iPhone 5. Then, last week, there was an unprecedented sale on new MacBook Airs from Best Buy. Today, we’ve found significant sales on two current-generation Apple toys:

5th-Generation 32GB iPod Touch for $250
This a great price and a strange sale. Shop-Rite — yes, the grocery store chain — is offering the newest iPod Touch for $250. Shipping’s free and you don’t have to pay tax if you’re outside a couple of northeastern states. I believe this also means you can walk into your local Shop-Rite and pick one up too. Pretty significant discount on an super-skinny iOS gadget. You’ve got four color choices. [Shop-Rite]

A Refurbished Airport Extreme For $90
If there’s anywhere you pay the “Apple tax,” it’s on Airport routers. By most accounts they’re excellent little devices, but they’re damn expensive. The top of the line Apple model — the Airport Extreme — usually costs $180, and you can find a non-Apple dual-band router for around $50 any day of the week. But if you’re already in the Mac ecosystem, and you want to add a Time Capsule or make sure Airplay Mirroring works, there’s no substitute (except for the Airport Express.) Today Best Buy’s selling refurbished Airport Extremes for $90. That’s at least $60 less than anywhere else new and a historically low price for this router. Pretty tempting. [Best Buy] Thanks, Ahmad!

Physical Media
When ESPN started making must-watch documentaries, it seemed out of character. A few years later — after all the dumb Tebow-loving stuff ESPN has done recently — it seems even stranger. Still, the Blu-ray set of all 30for30 movies at $42 is a great price for days of sports entertainment. Also, if you’ve got Amazon Prime, you can stream them all free. My favorites are The U, Run Ricky Run, and The Two Escobars. [Amazon via Erik Malinowski]

If You Want a Nexus 4, Go Buy It Right Now Before It’s Too Late
In case you missed the blip on Gizmodo earlier, Google’s restocked Nexus 4s in the Google Play store. At $350 for the 16GB model and $300 for the 8GB model, these are probably the best value going in unlocked handsets. Plus, it’s the latest and greatest Nexus device. Last time they were up, they sold out super fast. Gougers over on Amazon are still charging $500 and up. [Google Play]
