Deadline is reporting that “Merv Griffin Entertainment has teamed with leading game maker Namco Bandai Games America, which owns the Pac-Man brand, to develop an unscripted series based on the hugely popular video game.” The article goes on to compare Merv Griffin’s vision of the show to the highly enjoyable Wipeout obstacle course TV game show, but that’s all we have to go on. Our question is, how do you make a Pac-Man game show? Fingers crossed they bring back the old Gladiators for the ghosts, which you will have to fight inside a maze.
