We’ve seen Ricky Whittle, star of the upcoming TV adaptation of American Gods, as protagonist Shadow Moon before. But EW assures us that this is a picture of the character talking to his wife Laura (played by Emily Browning) if a first look, and since it is indeed the first pic of them together, hey, here’s your first look at this specific combination of characters, I guess. Whee!
All that said, Laura does seem to be nude and sporting a pretty horrific scar across her chest. Readers of Neil Gaiman’s novel know what Laura’s deal is, but for the rest of you guys, I can tell you it’s Dane Cook’s fault.
