If it wasn’t in the trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, this would be considered a spoiler. Very early in the movie, Hela destroys Mjolnir, Thor’s iconic hammer, which was given to him by his father, Odin. Fans have wondered if Thor would get his weapon back—but a new video from Marvel suggests that’s not going to happen.
Chris Hemsworth tweeted the below video, which is an “In Memoriam” for Mjolnir. It’s kind of sweet, until it gets just really funny. Plus, there’s a little surprise at the end.

That last shot of him throwing a real hammer isn’t in the movie, is it? That feels like a hilarious little bonus. (Or maybe I just had my eyes closed from laughing too hard at the scene.) And you have to think the existence of this video suggests that if Thor does get a new weapon in the upcoming Avengers films, it may be a new hammer, but it is not going to be the one and only Mjolnir.
And the only thing that could be better than that? This.
