Am I the only person who could give a rat’s ass about a Ferrari-branded laptop? I mean, apparently not, because Acer just keeps releasing them. This new 4000 dumps the bright red, all-over gloss for a rather attractive carbon fiber top (a full second faster in the quarter-mile), as well as a relatively powerful AMD Turion 64 processor and an ATI Mobility Radeon X700 graphics card, plus all the usual ins and outs. It’s the first Ferrari laptop from Acer that I’d not be embarrassed to use in public, but it’ll still be too expensive by half.
Pocket-Lint has exclusive details, as the only UK publication to get a flight out to Monte Carlo for the unveiling.
