AMC’s adaptation of the amazing comic book Preacher will air in May 2016. Or, at least we think it might.
Producer Seth Rogen tweeted the premiere date, along with the first official poster, but then deleted the initial tweet, updating it with this more general one.

While we knew it was being filmed, it’s still kind of mind-boggling this is actually happening. We’re finally going to get an AMC Preacher TV series next year.
The show will star Dominic Cooper as Jesse Custer, Ruth Negga as Tulip, Joe Gilgun as Cassidy and Ian Colletti as everyone’s favorite character, Arseface.
