Even though Life On Mars is on hiatus until January next year, former journalist Barbara Walters has still managed to give the show a ratings black eye; her replacement special Barbara Walters’ 10 Most Fascinating People of 2008 gained an amazing 59% in terms of viewership over the time-traveling cop show (That’s approximately 5.5 million viewers). Not fully realizing what this meant, ABC have immediately announced plans to send Walters back to the 1970s to team up with Harvey Keitel and fight crime. [Variety]
